We thank the following classrooms for working hard to gather items for some fun themed baskets! We really appreciate you doing this!
The Kindergarten class gathered all kinds of items that a 5yr would love to play with…. An art apron, a roll-up chalk cloth (perfect for the car), activity books, Highlights, Paint-by-number, sticker books, coloring books, Sidewalk chalk, Bubbles, Play-dough, Markers, Crayons, Glue Sticks, colored pencils, erasers, Paper Pads, Bath-toy puzzle, Card games, Rehoboth Children’s CD, Set of 3 “kids songs” CDs, whiteboard writing tablet, ABC magnets, a fun straw cup, and even some M&M’s! This is all bundled up in a large plastic tub with a reusable “chalkboard” label. Thanks a lot Kindergarteners!
The First and Second Graders joined forces to create the “Family Game Night” Basket. There is all sorts of fun in this basket!
Some games include Rummikub, Monopoly Junior, Hedbandz, Jenga, UNO, Phase 10, Minute to Win It, Go Fish, Go APE, Monopoly Deal, I Spy, A Barrel of monkeys, Dr. Seuss Matching, and playing cards. There is also plenty to please everyone’s stomachs! Tons of popcorn, and some cool popcorn containers, Skittles, Twizzlers, Orange pop short-cans, and some salted peanuts. And they’ve even included a few notepads for keeping score! Once again, it is packaged in a large plastic tub with a chalkboard label.
Great job 1st and 2nd graders. This basket looks like a ton of FUN!
The third graders really outdid themselves this year, when they put together a baby basket. They gathered so many things that we decided to split them into Girl and Boy Baby Baskets!
The boy basket as several outfits, including a brown bear snowsuit, some books, toys, a diaper cake, crocheted hanger, a darling handmade hooded towel, wipes, baby medicine, and a boy bib set. These are wrapped in a really nice white wicker basket.
The girl basket also has many outfits, toys, shampoo, medicine, a book, a Nuk sippy cup, a bottle set, crocheted hanger, handmade burpcloth with pink crochet edging, and a girl bib set. Also wrapped up in a cute white wicker basket.
The sixth grade also put together a “basket”. Well, it is actually not a basket. It is an entire TOYBOX full of toys! We haven’t had the chance to photograph it’s contents, but we peeked in the classroom, and saw this cool Little Tykes toy chest FULL to the top with toys! We’re talking Barbies, Legos, Nerf…. all we can say is IT. IS. HUGE. Hopefully we can get a picture up before auction night. If not, come and see it for yourself. The sixth grade did a phenomenal job of creating an awesome toy “basket”!
This is a picture of the toy chest. Very cool with pull out bins underneath. And under the lid, it gets even cooler…… stay posted!
